About Us
BH Woodworks is a one man shop located in Watertown, Wisconsin, owned and operated by Benjamin Hail. Benjamin created BH Woodworks out of the pure joy of working with his hands, the desire to create beautiful pieces of furniture that families can enjoy for generations, and his love of craftsmanship. Benjamin was initially exposed to woodworking by his father whom he watched build replicas of Noah’s Ark and by his Grandfather who built various items from birdhouses and plant stands to toy boxes. Benjamin spent 13 years working for a high end bicycle company where he built a passion for producing high quality products and developed a keen eye for detail as a custom painter and airbrush artist.
Benjamin started woodworking in 2016 by building small pieces of furniture for the household and fell in love with the craft. Since then, Benjamin has continuously been honing his skills as a woodworker and furniture maker by taking on various custom projects.
Family is at the forefront of BH Woodworks. The pieces that Benjamin builds are seen as show pieces that are beautifully displayed at family gatherings and are purposefully built to be highly functional. Benjamin is a family man himself and is building BH Woodworks as a means to support his family while being able to do something he is truly passionate about.
